 The Open Door Gallery is a cooperative group of artists, led by a volunteer director. The Gallery will continue to evolve as a cultural center, widely promoting itself to communities in Branch, Cass and St. Joseph counties, a region of Michigan that is culturally under-served. The Gallery will be an integral part of regional tours and visits as well as an important destination stop on its own. 

It is resolved that the Open Door Gallery will strive to promote the importance and value of arts in all forms. The Gallery will provide a supportive environment for artists of all ages to explore and cultivate their own creative visions. To facilitate education, growth and appreciation of the arts To provide a venue for artists in Southwestern Michigan, particularly Branch, Cass and St. Joseph counties, to exhibit and sell their work in an attractive gallery environment. To provide studio space for working artists to lease  To develop a program of classes, lectures, workshops and exhibits providing exposure to, and knowledge of the arts for citizens of our area  To continue to develop, define and refine policies and procedures for operating a Gallery. 

To establish and maintain a co-operative support network and sense of community within which artists can collectively pool their resources and their work in order to promote and sell art through out the area.
